GOD SAYS THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

Several weeks ago I received a telephone call from a man named Ben, who lives in the small town of Libby, in Western Montana. Ben and his brother had been involved in a Full Gospel Business Men's Chapter in the 1970's - 1990's. Ben related that the Full Gospel Business Men's Chapter in Libby had ushered in a major spiritual awakening to the town which continued until the early 1990's.

Recently someone had given Ben a set of DVD's from our FGBMFA National Convention held in Portland, Oregon last May. Ben was exited to learn about FGBMFA and told me that he and his brother had passed copies from the convention DVD's all over Libby. He was particularly thrilled with the DVD testimony of Bernie Burreson, an electronic Design Engineer, who shared at the Convention how God had given him many new designs and inventions through dreams and visions.

Ben related that he and his brother sensed that God was about to move in our nation again much like He did in the early days of the Fellowship. I agreed with Ben and I spent the next thirty minutes relating to Ben what God was saying to the men of FGBMFA.

I started by telling Ben the vision of the Fellowship in the form of a temple which had been given to Ivan Sisk on the September 22, 2001. (I shared that vision with you in the last months President's Newsletter.) Also, I shared with him several other prophetic words which had been given to encourage the FGBMFA.

The first occurred on January 17, 2009 - I remember the occasion very clearly. I was attending a Joshua Chapter meeting near Seattle; a young man by the name of Joshua Alvarez was speaking. The anointing of the Spirit was very heavy... People in the meeting were being healed even as Joshua spoke. I particularly remember one outstanding healing that manifested in that meeting. As Joshua finished speaking he asked "who in the audience was healed as I spoke?" A middle aged truck driver stood up, he had come into the meeting with severe pain; he had been crushed between a truck and trailer several years before. He told Joshua that he had been in constant pain since the accident. He related that as Joshua was speaking he was healed! He said "I came into the meeting with a pain level of "plus nine" and I am leaving the meeting with a pain level of "minus 3"! Joshua Alvarez prayed for several other individuals then he turned to my wife Barbara and me saying "when I first came into the meeting God said to tell you..."

"Strengthen the foundation, for I have given you the keys of David, and the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former house - the best is yet to come!"

(At the time this prophetic word was given FGBMFA had less than 20 chapters.)

Then three months later in our 2009 National Convention the speaker proclaimed "several months ago I was speaking in a meeting in which I saw four angels (one angel was posted in each corner of the room) then I saw a cloud of God's Glory begin to roll into the back of the room." As the Glory of God came into the room, God worked many marvelous miracles in the meeting.... Then he said, "Tonight I see the same four angels, one posted in each corner of this ballroom, and I see a cloud of God's Glory hovering over your heads..." Then he turned and pointed to the head table and proclaimed:

"This organization will be the catalyst to the greatest move of God to ever be poured out on this nation."

Then a few months later, God began to orchestrate a series of events that began to bring new Chapters from all over America into the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship in America. Today we have over fifty Chapters in our Fellowship with two new Chapters joining with us each month.

In last month's President's Newsletter I shared with you excerpts from an email I received from Roy Brian, National Director for Texas. Roy reviewed the various prophetic words given to our Fellowship and listed four prayer points upon which he and the men of the North Texas are focusing their prayers to assure the success of the 2011 National FGBMFA Convention. That Convention will be held in the Dallas/Fort Worth area June 30th to July 2, 2011.

The men of North Texas are right to pray - the prophetic words which I have shared with you will not come to pass until someone prays fervently for their fulfillment. There are many examples of this principle in the scriptures, let me review with you two of them.

"As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before Whom I stand, there shall not be rain these years, but according to my word... (Kings 17:1)

To the casual reader it would appear that after Elijah prophesied the words - "There shall not be rain three years, but according to my Word." - that he simply waited for the prophetic word which he had spoken to come to pass.

But in the Book of James, the Word of God reveals an important truth.

"Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. At the end of three years and six months, he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit." (James 5:16, 17 & 18)

After Elijah prophesied that it would not rain, he prayed earnestly that it would not rain. We see the same pattern over and over again in the Scriptures - no word of Prophesy is fulfilled without our prayers.

Let me give you another example of this same prayer principle. Daniel was a Jewish man, who had become a highly respected leader in the Babylon Government. One day Daniel was reading the Scriptures, when he understood the following prophesy spoken by Jeremiah concerning the return of the Jews to Jerusalem.

"After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you...I will cause you to return to this place (Jerusalem) to give you a future and a hope.... (Jeremiah 29:10) "

Daniel began to fast and pray... He fasted and prayed for twenty-one days before the angel that God had sent to answer Daniel's prayers actually broke through the devil's opposition to his prayers...

"From the first day that you set your heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words. But the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia withstood me and behold Michael, one of the Chief Princes, came to help me....." (Daniel 10:10-21)

This passage of Scripture from the Book of Daniel reveals one of the clearest examples of demonic forces being arrayed against the other prophetic word and the purpose of God. As soon as Daniel understood God's plan for Israel and began to pray for its fulfillment, demonic forces were dispatched to prevent the Word of God from coming to pass.

You see, as soon the Vision of the Fellowship in the form of a temple and its subsequent restoration was revealed to us and the prophetic words spoken over FGBMFA were proclaimed, demonic forces were dispatched to prevent these Words from God from coming to pass. This is why it is so important that you, the men of our Fellowship join together in prayer in agreement with the men of the North Texas area to pray for the fulfillment of the Vision and for God to once again release the power of His Holy Spirit in our Fellowship.

We, men of FGBMFA, have been given these dreams, visions, and prophetic words to reveal God's Plan for our future... But in order for these Words from the Lord to come to pass, you and I must fast and pray - like Elijah, Daniel and a host of other men of God who have preceded us.

Pray for the following issues:
· Pray that God will guide and energize our FGBMFA efforts to reach the Joshua Generation
· Pray that FGBMFA leaders and members will commit to setting aside a specific time each week to pray for the fulfillment of the FGBMFA vision
· Pray for the fulfillment of the specific prophetic words which have been spoken over FGBMFA
· Pray that God will use our 2011 National Convention in Dallas/Ft. Worth to expand the member base of FGBMFA
· Pray that God will bring a new wave of unity between FGBMFA and the other Fellowship Nations
· Pray for a new release of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in our Fellowship.
